I’m always amazed by the creativity of Mandi at Vintage Revivals and she has a way with words that always leaves me smiling. Her project of turning an old leather sofa into a bench just blew me away. Check it out here.

“Shout with joy to God, all the earth!” Psalm 66:1 NIV Bible
Twenty-six years ago, we moved to Clinton. I was 5 months pregnant at the time with our firstborn and we chose to live here because of the excellent school reputation and the close proximity to the capital city of Jackson. My husband had been in graduate school, in Austin, on leave from his job with the Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg, MS and the time had come to return. We said goodbye to Austin and loaded a small U-Haul trailer of furniture and belongings and moved back to Mississippi. I don’t think we could fit all of our belongings in that small trailer now! Looking back over these past years, I think we made a wise choice in choosing our hometown.
Our city, recently, released a tourism video. I think you’ll see what makes our hometown special.
