Hey!

I just posted the final installment in my Advent series @Sweeter Than Honey Ministry. I hope you’ll come check it out.  Here’s a small sample:

I heard Janet Parshall speak at a conference and she remarked that “Hannah prayed and a nation changed; Mary prayed and the world changed”….Read more

  1. For those of us set as intercessors, I know for myself, I have always felt compelled as an “assigned” intercessor to the region in which I live. That maybe stating the obvious. But it became an epiphany one time when I was living downtown. It wasn’t just people, but it was businesses, tourists, business travelers, airplanes and helicopters overhead, DEA, Passport offices (the Federal building was next door to my high rise) and a host of other medical offices…I from then on felt very energized. Having absolutely now no idea what the prayers I would pray, and what seeds they would sow, was somehow an adventure. And moving was “so where do you want me to move and for whom will you have us praying now?” was my question. My questions have never been the same, since. I don’t care to know the outcomes. I just am ecstatic that I’m apart of it. Just like my daughter growing up…I’ve never had a problem shoving her out of the nest. Watching her learn and grow up was the most amazing thing. I was just there to facilitate. And that was so much of a thrill to watch her take it and run. Literally. Or Swim in the deep on her own for the first time. Or ride a bike not knowing I wasn’t holding on beside her (and she didn’t know it, lol). Or fixing a presentation for a major government dignitary…and not knowing it until after I fixed it. It’s all the same to me. I feel like we are here to pray. And this week, as God so clearly dropped in my Spirit, is between them and God. But we are to help clear the path so they can. The nation and the world were ready to change. If they hadn’t, Hannah and Mary were no less effective, if I may also suggest…I think these are things we should keep in mind as we pray, too.
