Published — Bam!

I’m a little late with this news but I still want to share it.

Last year at Christmas (2014), I toured the Governor’s Mansion and the Mississippi Capitol.  I snapped a bunch of pics and wrote a post sharing them entitled Christmas at the Governor’s Mansion. In a strange twist of fate, I’ve been published.

Our South Magazine Winter 2014 issue contains my photographs from my trip to the Governor’s Mansion and the ones that I took that day of the State Capitol which I never blogged.

If you look really close at the tiny print at the bottom of this article’s page, you can see my name.

Also, if you’d like to view all of the photographs, visit this link and click on Christmas in the Capital City.

Wonders never cease and God is good.

  1. How fun. I regret not making the effort to go in all the years I lived in Vicksburg. I’m so glad they used your photos! Did your daughter have to get out the smelling salts? Hehee .
I really like their use of lighting, and I think you captured it perfectly! Ta-da to you!
They have recently renovated the old courthouse here in Houston, so if you are ever this way and have time, please stop by. On my daily commute years ago, I would watch them slowly rip out the horrid, temporary mason brick used to seal the entrances, and install the period stone and architecture fittings.
