Hey!
Today, I’m joining in with other bloggers for Melissa’s annual Favorite Things Link up Party @ 320 Sycamore. This party that she hosts is one of my favorites that I look forward to every year. This year, I’m sharing some products that are favorites I discovered this year and some that I’ve enjoyed for many years.
1. Pacific Organic Soup: This soup line is delicious. I just discovered it. I haven’t tried all of them but the butternut squash and the tomato are yummy.
2. Bookmarks magazine is a wonderful way to find new books and read reviews. I particularly like the “Have You Read” section where readers send in their lists.
3. Musee Bath Balls: They’re made local and are all natural ingredients. I particularly love “Man of Constant Sorrow”. I have arthritis and it’s great for sore muscles and joints.
4. Paddywax Library Candles: This line carries candles named after several famous authors each with their own unique scent. I like the tobacco flower and vanilla mix found in the Mark Twain candle. The scent smells like what I would expect his library to smell like.
5. Wet N Wild Fergie Nail Polish in Going Platinum: All bright and shiny and perfect for the holidays {and later}.
6. The Good Home Co. Beach Days Hand Soap smells wonderful –just like the beach. A little pricey but on cold winter days –lifts your spirits of warmer days to come.
7. A Lighted Seam Ripper with a magnifier is an awesome thing when you make the number of mistakes I do sewing and have difficulty seeing those tiny stitches clearly.
8. Yoga Mat Sanuk Flip Flops: The bed of the flip flop is made from yoga mats so they’re super cushy.
9. Popcorn Indiana’s Black and White Kettlecorn: I hesitate to suggest this popcorn treat. You’ll love it and it’s not calorie free. I buy mine at Sam’s but I’ve seen it at other locations even Dollar Tree.
10. Solar Shield Sunglasses: These glasses wrap around your regular glasses without being wobbly.

“Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name…who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:1,5 NIV Bible
Mimi, I feel like I need to buy all of these things now!
-The Musee bath balls sound great. I don’t know this brand, but everything about them sounds awesome.
-The popcorn looks to DIE for!
-We need soap that smells like the beach!! As a displaced Floridian, my husband would love this. Where do you buy it? Can you only get it online here?
Thanks for sharing!
Sorry about making you want to spend your money : ) If you click on the pictures they should in theory take you to a site you can purchase them from. Musee bath balls are a cottage industry in Jackson MS. I think I linked it to the site to order. The popcorn I find at Sams but I imagine Wal Mart or a grocery store would have it. I bought my beach days hand soap from Amazon. It is on the pricey side. I think the site I linked it to had it on sale.
I hope all that helps! Thanks for stopping by –Merry Christmas!
Thanks so much!
Great compilation! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for stopping by! Merry Christmas!
The seam ripper is genius! I have some ladies that sew in my life, and they’re really hard to find gifts for – this is going on the keeper list for next Christmas!!
Come on over and see my 13 favorites in 2013!
I think they’ll love the seam ripper. Merry Christmas!
Ooooh I really want to try this soup now! I fell in love with butternut squash soup recently, so I’m excited to try a version you can by at the store!
I’ve tried several brands but this one is my favorite. I didn’t feel the need to add any additional spices or salt and pepper. I hope you like it! I bought mine at Target.
I have never heard of Bookmarks Magazine. Intriguing!! Love to read about your favorites, Mimi! We’re flying to Nola rather than driving this year, or I’d for sure be stopping in your neck of the woods. Someday! Merry Christmas.
You’d love Bookmarks. I sent you an email about a possible get together. I hope y’all have a Merry Christmas and New Year!
That seam ripper is brilliant! All my sewing friends will love it! Thanks!
Thanks for dropping by! Merry Christmas!
Oh my goodness, THAT POPCORN! Sweet and salty is a dangerous combination for me! lol I’ve tried a few Pacific Organics foods but not that soup yet. Thanks for the tip! Sounds delish for a winter lunch. 🙂
I hope you like it! The popcorn IS dangerous!
Loved your list….I’m investigating those sunglasses!!!!
Thanks!
Hello, Mimi! That popcorn is to die for. Our Kroger was clearancing it out for some reason for 50 cents a bag and I swear I gained 10 pounds eating it. I’m intrigued by that candle too, I have never heard of them. Happy New Year!!
Yes, I KNOW about those 10 pounds : )
